Rujeiro Calo
Boardmasters 2018

On the Wednesday 8th August we were lucky enough to attend the Boardmasters surfing competition at Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay in Cornwall. The reason for our visit? Rujeiro Calo who has been recording at Hangover Hill with Matt for the last few years was opening the main festival with an acoustic beach vibes reggae set. Thursday saw him open the beach day sessions to a packed audience. We are very proud of him and roll on next year!

Sunday 15th July saw another successful charity event in New Milton run by the lovely Sue Darcy. Sue and her team have worked hard to put on a great event and raise money for Cancer Research UK. This year they raised nearly £1800 and there was also a surprise guest to accompany Matt and Sue in a rendition of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’. Good old Mr Blobby….he was slightly clumsy!
